As any student of Socratic philosophy knows, the search for the truth means asking the right questions. 

Since the morning of September 11, 2001, as I drove back to Chicago from the terror-stricken East Coast, I have been asking if Israelis were involved in 9-11.  It certainly looked that way.

While the evidence indicates that Israelis are indeed behind 9-11, this is a line of questioning that very few 9-11 researchers have been willing to pursue.  Political correctness prevents most from understanding the real roots of the terrorism atrocity that changed American history. 

There are really very few people who care what happened on 9-11.  Many Americans belong to what I call "the television-informed public" and have short attention spans.  These people have "moved on" from 9-11, as they like to say – at least on to the next channel or media distraction. 

The controlled media has shifted public attention to the next act in the circus.  That might be the dismal economic news, the fraudulent presidential campaign, the latest disasters in Afghanistan and Iraq, or the most recent manifestation of the "police state" in America.

9-11 is no longer news.  But all these wars and disastrous developments are linked to 9-11.  Why is the truth of 9-11 of so little interest?

WILL WE BE IN AFGHANISTAN FOR DECADES?

Today is the beginning of the Midsummer holiday in Europe when Scandinavians and other northern people celebrate the longest days of the year. 

In Afghanistan, however, where many Scandinavians are serving the U.S.-led coalition, June 21 marked the deadliest day of the year.  Today, on the eve of the summer solstice, six occupation troops were killed in Afghanistan. 

Ninety-nine foreign soldiers have been killed in Afghanistan in 2008, 20 in May and at least 32 since the beginning of June, making it the deadliest month for the deployment this year.  Remember the peace dividend?  What happened to that?

"But it [U.S.-led operation in Afghanistan] is a long struggle," Richard Norton-Taylor wrote recently in The Guardian (U.K.).  "There are about 8,000 British troops now in southern Afghanistan. British diplomats in the country say Britain - and other NATO countries - will have to stay for at least a generation."

More than 530 Americans have died in Afghanistan in a war that was begun shortly after 9-11, supposedly waged to bring those responsible for the terror attacks to justice.  The United States, however, is no longer looking for Osama bin Laden, the man who is allegedly behind the attacks.

Two years ago, the C.I.A. reportedly disbanded the unit that was supposedly searching for Bin Laden, the No. 1 suspect according to the government version, for the terror attacks of 9-11.  So why are we in Afghanistan?  Is opium worth that much?

Robert Fisk, the well-known British journalist on the Middle East recently said that Bin Laden is "irrelevant."  How could the person behind the terror of 9-11 be irrelevant to those who believe he did it?

Rachel Cook interviewed Fisk in April 2008:

Then we talk about Osama Bin Laden, whom Fisk has interviewed three times. 'Bin Laden is irrelevant. Killing him now is like arresting the nuclear scientists after the atom bomb was invented.'

Wait a minute.  How can Bin Laden be irrelevant?  How can the culprit of 9-11 be irrelevant?  Why are Bin Laden and Khalid Sheikh Mohamed, held in the "Gitmo" gulag of Cuba, kept far from U.S. justice?

The bluish smoke that rose until Christmas 2001 from beneath the rubble of the World Trade Center contained extremely small, i.e. nano-size, particles of heavy metals and other elements.  These nano-size particles, which are extremely toxic due to their ability to infiltrate the nucleus of human cells, are only produced by fires hotter than the boiling point of the metal.  These were certainly not normal fires that caused iron to boil beneath the rubble.
